All ferry lines - Steamship, Hy-Line and Seastreak - bring you right into the downtown at one of two wharfs, within comfortable walking distance of nearly every hotel or inn.

Biking:

There are several bike shops located right downtown, with others providing bike delivery to homes and hotels/inns in town. Bike racks are everywhere!

Public Transit:

The WAVE bus departs from two locations downtown, traveling to all ends of the island. The Greenhound Building services the southern and eastern routes, while the Whaling Museum is the departure for western routes.
